Jen Philpot is a Canadian by birth and hails from British Columbia on the west coast. She has been drawing ever since she can remember and even as a mere toddler she was drawing fantasy characters from video games and Disney movies. Her favorite subjects at that young age were monsters and animals.

As she grew older she began to experiment with writing but always found herself returning to art in which she loved and had a natural talent for. She loved turning something imaginary into something that was real and that she could share with others. She has said that she was inspired by several other wildlife artists such as Robert Bateman and Carl Brenders for the realism aspect in her art and also by Boris Vallejo for the fantasy aspect.

Today she is a multi-talented digital artist who has made a name for herself in the digital art field. Her introduction into digital art began as a way of convenience for her in that she was able to create artwork while at the same time continue her studies in school. Being a busy college student with a major in animal biology, left her with little extra time so creating her art digitally was a way to fit it all in. Since then she has specialized in digital art for over 11 years now.

Her artwork is very realistic and beautiful and she continues to create animals as her favorite subjects. Wolves are a specialty for her and her ability to create them in very realistic and loving scenarios is quite magical. Below are featured some of her creations of wolves which will definitely touch your heart.
