Cat and Crow Make Unlikely but Heartwarming Best Friends

Friendship as a type of interpersonal relationship is also found among animals of higher intelligence, such as the higher mammals and some birds. Cross-species friendships are common between humans and domestic animals. Less common but noteworthy are friendships between an animal and another animal of a different species, such as a dog and cat.

It is true that friendships between different species are not quite as common as those between the same species. But Nature is always full of surprises and it is never wise to underestimate the power of love. The video below is a love story between two individuals who would normally be arch enemies in the natural world.

But this was not to be the case for them. It starts with a poor little kitten who was tossed over a fence - unloved and unwanted. But that was soon to change as she was literally taken under the wing of someone who was watching it all. It just goes to show that the heart wants what the heart wants. This video will definitely put a smile on your face and fill your heart with hope and wonder too.

Friendship is one of the most divine gifts of any relationship, it is a unique blend of affection, loyalty, love and trust; a shared spiritual bond between two individuals.

“Much of the vitality in a friendship lies in the honouring of differences, not simply in the enjoyment of similarities.”
