Puppy Makes Friends With A Crab On The Beach In South Carolina (VIDEO)

Having a rough day? Here's a video from the Associated Press of a puppy attempting to make friends with a crab. Even though the crab rebuffs all the puppy's overtures, we're happy to report the playful pup doesn't seem to mind.

The YouTube video, filmed by Jason Wheeler on Pawley's Island, South Carolina, features a 2-year-old rescued Dachshund named Madeline and an unnamed ghost crab.

*Dachshund Rescue of North America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with one sole purpose — rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing needy dachshunds and mostly dachshund mixes. We are a network of experienced rescue people with strong representation in the northeast, mid-Atlantic, midwest, and southeast. DRNA began with a small number of rescuers who worked independently for a year before incorporating in 1999 to realize the benefits of combining resources. Over our history we have placed well over 8,000 dogs, and are by far the largest dachshund rescue organization in the country.

Sorry, don't agree, has nothing to do with making friends. Might have ended very bad for the doggy's nose... foolish owner to not take his puppy away from this poor crab.
