The Yukon Wolf (Canis lupus pambasileus), also known as the Alaska Black Wolf, the Alaskan Wolf,[4] and the Interior Alaskan Wolf, is a subspecies of the gray wolf, Canis lupus, and is found in Yukon and surrounding territories. It has been the subject of an ongoing population control program in Yukon since the 1980s.
The subspecies has been found to weigh from 150 to 200 pounds (68 to 91 kg) at full maturity, and is considered to be the largest subspecies of Canis lupus in the world. and stand between 36-42 inches at the shoulder.
This wolf has also been noted as long bodied, varying in length from 6 feet to 7 feet(1.50 to 2.00 meters).The Yukon wolf typically has black fur with gray and brown markings he can also have gray or white fur
The Yukon Wolf is generally found roaming in packs that range in size from five to ten adult members. Only a wolf from the same family can be a member of the pack.(Via Wikipedia)

We had a Colorado white wolf he was huge like this and very gentle weighed 165 pounds and was 7ft long. He was almost solid white. He disappeared from here(Texas) 2 years ago. We now have a female she looks more like this one. She is barely over 2 years old but is now filling out and looking more like a grown wolf. She loves people but will kill another animal in a heartbeat. Wolfey ran free but Luna we can't let her be free or no one would have a pet after she made a pass..No females I should say. She is territorial..
