Bulldogs are medium size. They look small, but probably weigh more than you think. Males weigh about 50 pounds and females tend to be a little smaller, weighing about 40 pounds. Both dogs can be from 12 - 16 inches tall.

When a Bulldog walks, he kind of shuffles (drags his feet slightly) from side to side, unlike many other dogs who walk forward. But he walks confidently and he knows where he's going.
