Friendship knows no bounds for a fawn who wandered out of the woods. The little deer cuddled up beside a 7-month-old German Shepherd police dog named Iris, who seemed happy to meet him.

The internet loved the cross-species friendship caught on camera.

In the footage it is apparent that the Disney deer and the delightful dog are completely relaxed and carefree in one another’s company, to the point Iris shows her love for the little lost fawn by showering her with a series of licks on the nose.
