Scooter was dropped off at a shelter right after he was born, abandoned in a box on the doorstep just because he was different from other puppies.
The tiny poodle mix was born without any front legs, but other than that he was a sweet, normal pup.
Scooter wound up in the care of Pitty Paws Bully Rescue, in Phoenix, Arizona, where volunteers knew that, with a little extra support, he had the chance at a great life.
They started taking him to rehab, where Scooter is learning how to hop on his back legs and use wheels hooked up to his chest.
Scooter is more proof (as if we needed any) that special needs dogs don't deserve to be tossed away like trash, they deserve the same happy, well-loved life that all dogs do.
