Three-year-old Dolly, who was stolen on December 2, is blind and requires daily medication. The family say she will be ‘terrified’ not knowing where she is.

Isla’s letter to Santa reads: ‘Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is my dog to come back. I do not care about presents. All I care about is my dog Dolly to come home. I miss her so much and I love her. Isla Kerr xxxx.’

Isla has also drawn a picture of her and Dolly together.Dolly was taken last Wednesday evening after being left tied up for just a few minutes outside a shop close to the family home in Sowerby Bridge Mum Vanessa said: ‘We’ve had Dolly since she was nine weeks old and she and Isla are like best friends, they’re inseparable.
