A six-point buck head-butted the owner of a rural Minnesota fur company last week before trashing the shop's warehouse, currently full of deer hides being tanned for hunters.

The owner of Johnson Fur, located in rural Wilmar, Minnesota, believes the buck was seeking a mate and became confused after smelling the deer hides.

J0hnson walked away from the deer's head-butt with light bruising, but the deer proceeded to dash through the office, leaping over tables and making a mess of the office's paperwork. The buck even jumped onto a refrigerator.

After the Johnsons' Jack Russell terrier began nipping the deer at his heels, the confused animal eventually ran back out the door and escaped into the wild.

Lynette Johnson suggested that perhaps the deer was looking for a lost love or sibling.

“It was something else,’’ said business owner Scott Johnson, who took a set of six-point antlers to his ribs and stomach.

Too bad he didn't do more damage. Imagine looking for a mate among all the carnage that humans cause to it's species. Sad, really.

  2. Unknown says:

There is a difference between saving a life and sparing a life

  3. "...perhaps the deer was looking for a lost love or sibling." Ok. That just broke my heart. Hunters are heartless. Unless you are respectfully taking the life to feed your family, you are just a plain murderer. Killing is NOT a 'sport'.

  4. hunters and those who profit from their bloodlust are the scum of the earth

Sad day for all, the deer didn't find his beloved, the innocent owner was hurt and his office ransacked. A Minn Correll's farmer had the surprising moment of being used as a dear lady doe by a local buck he was trying to kill.

  6. Looks like a young buck, but I personally think it is great revenge. Like Bambi, let the human get a taste of a surprising attack. No sympathy for the owner.

good for the deer. too bad all of the fur places werent would be great if all the animal species would seek revenge on the murdering human species.

dont blame the deer, too many innocent animals everwhere r being killed by disgusting hunters for sport and trophys it is sick and evil. i wish they would make trophy hunting illigale all over he word, the human species is responsible for the near extinction of innocent animals and humans lpush them out of their homes and they were there first, and then kill the animals for going on their ex land
