If this ecstatic mama dog could speak, those would probably be the words she’d have said when she saw her puppies after an anxiety-filled separation.

A video of the dog’s reunion with her babies was shared online by the Marin Humane Society this week. The Bay Area group explained that the dog, named Cora, was surrendered by her owner on Saturday. After an examination, it became clear that Cora had recently given birth.

The Humane Society told SFGate that Cora’s former owner was “evasive and unwilling to admit” that the dog had had any puppies. Eventually, however, the group managed to convince the owner to surrender the four pups, who were still too young to be separated from their mom.

Prior to the reunion on Monday, Cora had been skittish and “frightened.” The dog’s transformation at the sight of her puppies was captured on camera.

At the beginning of the video, Cora can be seen standing timidly in a corner. Once she realized that her puppies were there, she rushed forward to greet them, her tail wagging with delight.

“We captured the moment when sad and scared mom got to see her puppies again. Tears of joy all around at this happy reunion,” the Marin Humane Society wrote on Facebook.

According to SFGate, the puppies were all named after Downton Abbey characters. The three male pups became Branson, Carson and Molesley while the female was named Edith. (“Cora” is also a character on the popular TV show.)

The Marin Humane Society said Cora and her puppies were all doing very well. They’ve been placed in a foster home, and will eventually be put up for adoption.

This is amazing but the cries in the background are heartbreaking. I hope every animal gets a shot at finding a family and being loved.
