First Peoples Worldwide, a grant-making advocacy organization, just released a new animated video about sustainable economic success titled "Enoughness: Restoring Balance to the Economy."

"How we see the world determines how we act," explains First Peoples Worldwide. "Western thought sees us at war with each other over resources." In Western tradition, the individual is viewed as fearful, working alone and in competition with others.

Rebecca Adamson—a Cherokee economist, savvy entrepreneur, visionary leader, co-author of The Color of Wealth, activist and founder of First Nations Development Institute—started First Peoples Worldwide in 1997 with her daughter Neva.

First Peoples Worldwide is dedicated to funding local development projects in Indigenous communities across the world, while creating bridges between Native communities and corporations, governments, academics, NGOs and investors in their regions.
