Dog faints from 'overwhelming joy' as he's reunited with owner after two years

If ever there was evidence of why dogs are called ‘man’s best friend’ (or in this case, woman’s) then this is it.

Rebecca Ehalt filmed the moment she was reunited with her dog, who she had not seen for two years, which Rebecca points out is 14 in dog years.

The pooch squeals with joy at the sight of his owner, however the excitement clearly gets a bit too much for him and before long he is sparked out on his back.

Looking like a boxer in the ninth round, he is a little wobbly when he first regains consciousness, but is back to showering Rebecca with love moments later.

Just don’t ever expect your cat to act like this.

I would be concerned that the dog has a heart condition, eg. sick sinus syndrome, which is seen in miniature schnauzers. Often see fainting with it.
