An owl in New Belgrade, Serbia suffered a terrible blow when she hit the window at the Tourist school.
Not only did it knock her to the ground but then she was attacked by some crows. Luckily she was found by a student, Iva Banicevic, who drove the crows away from her.
Since she was in bad shape, the school principal called the rescue organization, Freedom for Animals, to come and get her.
The owl was very exhausted and could not stand on her feet. Many times birds do not survive such blows and have permanent brain damage or broken limbs/wings.
However, those who aren't hurt as badly usually recover after a few days and are set free to live again in the wild. Luckily this was the case for this little owl.
