A dog who was surrendered by her family to the North Central Shelter in Los Angeles, California, is emotionally shattered inside.

The devastated dog, named "Miley," was put into a play group earlier this week and all that she could do was press her face to a wall...too depressed to interact or make an attempt to have fun.

The broken-hearted dog received comfort from another dog...Marley, another owner surrendered dog, opted out of romping and playing to lay by the side of the depressed dog who was too sad to raise her head.

Luckily the photo of Marley and Miley caught the attention of Best Friends Animal Society Los Angeles, a no-kill rescue, which stepped forward to take both dogs and help them find forever homes.

Miley probably won't forget her feelings of loss, but this girl still has a lot of love to give, and some lucky family is going to get to make her feel wanted again.

Broke my hart to here the history on Miley..People get a dog and give the dog up when the dog becomes an inconvenience ,Some people just don't get it, a dog will love you unconditionally more than any human will and if you should end the relationship this will break your dogs hart ..I would like to say to the ones who gave up Miley ,please do not raise any kids.

They feel everything we feel. Please don't judge before you know circumstances ( lots of people loose homes & forced to rent where pets aren't allowed. Better take to shelter where chance to be rehomed - some people do much worse believe me.

Wrong jaywalk!!!! It is the dumbass owners responsibility to find a place they can all go to.... When we adopt a dog that is a PROMISE to care for that dog permanently!!!! Don't adopt a dog if you are a dumbass!!!!!
